3. Let Me Help You Get Ahead In 2026

If you’re looking to accelerate your results in 2026, particularly with optimizing taxes, building more cash flow, improving your business or simply elevating your personal financial situation, I encourage you to consider working with me. As I’ve shared in the past, it’s so tempting to think we know it all. We want to figure things out ourselves. We want to go on the journey solo, not realizing that we can only go so far. Whether it is our pride or ignorance, we hurt ourselves when we don’t seek help from those that have accomplished what we want to accomplish. If you’re looking to achieve a major breakthrough or to simply go further faster, I invite you to consider coaching or consultation with me. A good start is to book a FREE 15-minute Tax Strategy Session with me here to get a taste of the potential results you can get from coaching.

4. The 3 D’s of Tax Planning

As you may already know, tax planning is all about minimizing or eliminating taxes. A good tax plan will often include strategies to deduct, defer, and divide.

  • Deduct: A tax deduction (or “write-off”) reduces your taxable income, on which your federal tax is calculated.
  • Defer: A deferral strategy allows you to move your tax liability into a future year. You owe the tax, but rather than paying it today, you can pay it at a future date.
  • Divide: This strategy allows you to spread income among different taxpayers to lower the effective tax rates for the combined family.

Remember, every dollar saved in taxes will help accelerate your wealth. To read the full article, go to: https://kengreen.ca/3ds/

5. Speed and Patience: The Winning Combo

We’re often told to “move fast” if we want to succeed. Launch quickly. Say yes to opportunities. Take action before you feel ready. And it’s true—speed does open doors. When you move, send that email, make that call, or test that idea, you create chances that standing still never will.

But here’s the trap: if you’re always sprinting from one new thing to the next, you never stay long enough to see what could really grow. You collect ideas but don’t master any. You start projects but don’t finish them. You get motion, not momentum.

The real magic happens when speed and patience work together. Move quickly to explore—try things, learn, and discover what works for you. Then, once you’ve found something that fits your strengths and creates real value, slow down and commit. Do it again and again. Stay with it long enough for the small wins to compound. In his email this week, James Clear writes about the importance of speed and patience in this quote:

"Speed creates opportunity. Patience compounds it.

Moving fast will generate more chances. But if you quickly jump from thing to thing, growth will stall.

Get moving and find what works, then do it for decades."

Get moving so the opportunities can appear. Then apply patience so those opportunities can turn into something meaningful over years, not weeks. James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, shares insightful quotes like this weekly. Consider subscribing to his weekly emails for tips on cultivating winning habits. Check it out here.
